par avion


I love snail mail. It's just so much more personal. I love the intimacy of handwritten letters and envelopes, it really lends itself to someone showing that they care that much about you that they would take the time to write something, stamp it and post it... as opposed to the easy way of, e-mail.

My friend Kaya sent a thank you card to my family from Melbourne before she flew back to Toronto, Canada and Kathy sent me a birthday card from England and funnily enough, I didn't get these envelopes back home... my brother had to bring them with him to Asia for me to open. So these envelopes have gotten around! They've gotten to do a bit of traveling themselves ;-P
