The Rocks AROMA FESTIVAL

After my morning cycle, here (The Rocks AROMA FESTIVAL) is where I plan on being in the afternoon/evening with some of the best company I could ever ask for.

I'll make sure to take photos and post them up. I'm also looking forward to seeing the Aroma team try to break their Mona Lisa coffee sculpture world record with a brand new iconic image and the famous harbourside camel back rides (are back).

Never Stopped Looking

I just saw this short 'fashion film' of my gorgeous friend, Catherine by her friend Jmerts Eddun (using a Canon 5D MII). She looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm sure you can take any guy's breath away, luvs. Why have I only seen this now?! Nonetheless, stunning.

Photoshoot with Gin+Tonic

Here are some photos from my photoshoot yesterday with my friend Gin+Tonic. He was trying to go for a punk/goth/evanescence type theme. Some of the photos have a vampire at night feel to them. The last 3 photographs are my favourite. They are the more cinematic ones. Bright lights, big city (for a vampire). So call me Buffy (the original Buffy, Kristy Swanson). How funky if your chicken...

Dinosaur Designs

HANDMADE WITH LOVE FROM AUSTRALIA
I first heard of Dinosaur Designs when I was in fashion school, 6 years back. We were holding an end of year fashion show combined with the Miss Australia Launch. I remember that so many of us were frantic about where to find fabulous accessories to really lend our designs, styling and models that edge that was needed to really put together our pieces successfully. In comes the Italian with a box filled with glorious treasures. Treasures that I assure you, at that time and still are, very unique (not to mention pricey for a rock). He gloated over how they were from Dinosaur Designs, a little Sydney based company that had just stepped onto the fashion market. I didn't end up using these pieces. Not because I didn't want to, but because they were appropriate for my mini collection AND the fact the other students got greedy and hoarded them in for their own personal use. Too bad for them, they had to be returned ;) END STORY. END RANT.
All I can say, is that they are unique, and they installations are just so colourful and are a joy to look at. Although I wouldn't spruce up the interior of my home with all Dinosaur pieces, I would definitely accent and compliment parts of my home with their homewares and textiles. If they made pieces (namely bangles) small enough for me to fit, I would definitely wear them when my outfit and style calls for it. Perhaps I'll ask to be made custom pieces. I'm not one to really buy or wear fashion jewellery, but this is one that I would make the exception for.
So the question that I pose here is, should I work here as a National Visual Merchandise Manager, or what? Creativity has no limitations here. Very tempting.

P.S. They are also ECO friendly and environmentally aware :)

My Apologies

I've neglected this space and for that I ask your forgiveness. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, I'm back! I'm back from my recent travels, although I would still prefer to be traveling, and I'm also back to this space that I have temporarily neglected. What will become of this space, I've yet to decide, but there will be things I'll definitely share with you. Heck, you could possibly even help me make small decisions in my life that will impact on me greatly. So enough of the ranting, let me find something to share ;)

I've missed this. I've missed you. Time to find what else is missing!
BIG Love.
